2002 Harley Davidson VRSC for sale in Roessleville, New York

$4,500

Description:The rear-end of the bike is fitted with a chrome Performance Machine 18x8.5 wheel and a 240/40 tire. The tire and wheel fit inside the chrome swing-arm and rear fender. The rear turn signals have been relocated to the upper shock mounts. The license plate has been relocated to the left side lower shock mount. The rear PM pulley matches the rear wheel. The rear shocks are adjustable Progressive 440s, and set about 2 lower than stock. There are absolutely no clearance problems with the tire or belt, and the tire and wheel are positioned on the centerline of the bike. This is most important for handling and often done poorly with wide tire kits. Not so with this customization. Handling is awesome! A custom chrome plated Brembo caliber and fixed rotor replaces the factory rear brake setup. The pads and rotor are only six months old.The front-end is fitted with a matching chrome Performance Machine wheel and chrome plated Brembo calibers and full-floating rotors on either side. The front forks have been lowered about 1 1/2. The factory gauge pod has been replaced with a custom designed and CNC milled billet gauge pod that houses a 3 3/8 Auto Meter analog tachometer and two Dakota Digital 2 1/16 gauges that accommodate all factory functions and a few more. These gauges have a chrome front bezel with non-glare scratch resistant lens and a machined aluminum housing. The standard indicator lights are also installed. The factory pull back high-rise bars have been replaced with Caf style bars with a low rise.Only a few significant changes to the motor have been made. A Screamin Eagle Stage 1 kit is installed, and the factory exhaust has been replaced with D & D slip-ons. There are a few small swirl scratches from aggressive polishing. The intake air temperature sensor has been relocated per factory recommendation. A DynoJet Power Commander was used to optimally tune the bike by an authorized DynoJet tuner. Currently the Power Commander is not installed. It was removed during the original build to simplify the extensive electrical work required when the new gauge pod and gauges were assembled. The bike runs perfectly without it, but it is running on the stock HD Stage 1 map.
